After a very wild night dawn arrived with a weak sun and a gentle breeze. I took a long lens out as I thought I’d get a picture of a squirrel. I did but it isn’t a very good image. I was a little disappointed as there must be dozens of them around or a couple of very hungry ones. Everywhere I walk there are chewed pine cones.Eventually I got close enough to snap a squirrel. I even managed to find a couple of deer.Last night I could hear the big cat calling. I have caught glimpses of it and it looks like a Puma.
