“I came to Bucharest at the end of September to volunteer with A.C.T.O.R., and even in these first months, the experience has been full of joy, surprises, and small moments that stay with me. I work in many different places — hospitals, a dementia center, schools, and kindergartens — but everywhere I go, I feel that our presence brings a bit of warmth and connection.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is confidence. I realized that when working with children, enthusiasm often matters more than perfect skills — they respond to energy, kindness, and attention.
