I have been away for the weekend. The weather was par for a Bank Holiday, wet, cold, a bit dank and dismal but we had a good time.This morning I went birding, it was a pleasant waste of time.Whilst eating breakfast I noticed this stag doing likewise and chomping it’s way through the willow tree. The dogs soon spotted it and chased it off.We then went and sat in amongst the fallen trees. I was determined to get some proper Tree Creeper or Woodpecker pictures but we never saw a feather or foot of either.We did see a couple of red Squirrels and a few Wrens the latter were too quick for me.Yet ano
